Residential office conversion, Ryedale House, Piccadilly

On behalf of residential developer Newby, O’Neill Associates secured permission to convert this city centre office block into 79 one, two and three-bedroom luxury apartments adjacent to the river Foss in York.

Ryedale House was once home to the North Yorkshire Health Authority but had since stood vacant for many years. O'Neill Associates navigated the prior approval process for conversion of offices to residential as well as securing planning permission for external alterations in this sensitive heritage location.

The scheme will play a key part in the transformation of Piccadilly and the Castle Gateway area of the city and is set to be completed later this year.
