Residential conversion of 18th century workshop

On behalf of Newby Developments, the practice obtained planning permission to convert a series of former workshop buildings at Back Devonshire Place in Harrogate for residential use. The 18th century horseshoe building forms the centrepiece of the development.

As part of the proposals, modern employment buildings at the rear of the site were demolished and replaced with 5 new townhouses. The scheme provided a total of 14 units across this 0.27 hectare site.
