SCCi Alphatrack – Digital and Satellite Systems Installations

O'Neil Associates provided planning services to SCCi Alphatrack, one of the UK’s leading digital TV, data, security and fire systems specialists.

SCCi operates nationwide but their primary market is in the south east, where they provide satellite installation and maintenance services to a number of large housing associations, including the Peabody Trust and London Quadrant, which collectively own or manage nearly 100,000 homes.

SCCi have led an ambitious programme to install and renew digital and satellite television systems across their housing portfolios. A series of applications were co-ordinated across a number of local authority areas, including Westminster, Wandsworth, Southwark, Lambeth, Tower Hamlets, Barking and Dagenham.  The majority of the affected properties in these areas were either listed or subject to conservation area controls, raising sensitive design issues.

O’Neill Associates advised SCCi on those installations which required planning permission and/or listed building consent.
