Following a successful OJEU tender submission, the practice has been awarded a 5-year contract by the Science Museum Group to provide planning consultancy services for the Group’s Vision 2025 Programme, which involves the £55.3m transformation of the National Railway Museum in York and Locomotion in Shildon, County Durham.

The Programme involves seven projects in total, the centerpiece being the development of a new and iconic building for Central Hall in York.

The practice will be working alongside the Museum Group and the appointed design team in navigating the various schemes through the planning process and will also lead on the planning aspects of the Group’s involvement in the wider regeneration initiative at York Central.

We look forward to joining them on their 5-year journey to create the 'World’s Railway Museum'.
