Listed building consent for change of use and alteration of historic buildings
O’Neill Associates acted on behalf of The Lawrance to secure planning and listed building consents for the change of use and alteration of a range of historic buildings within a Conservation Area to form 14 serviced apartments.
The site includes a Grade II listed Georgian house, and a number of former residential and commercial brick buildings previously used for storage and workshop space.
O’Neill Associates worked closely with the architects and Council Conservation Officers to produce a scheme which preserved the historic character of the site while meeting the requirements of the applicants.
The Practice provided planning justification for the change of use and building alterations, including increases to building height and works associated with the refurbishment and conversion of the listed building.
