O’Neill Associates secured planning permission, including presenting to Planning Committee on behalf of Burlington Care (the client and care home operator) for a new build 64-bedroom residential care home (use class C2) in Acomb Road, York following demolition of an disused and outdated 1960’s 34-bed care home.
Following positive preapplication negotiations, the proposal was considered to be “positive addition to the local streetscape” by the Council’s City Architect and was approved unanimously by City of York Council’s Planning Committee A in August 2022
