Located on the site Northern House, Roman Quarter will give a major boost to the continued regeneration of Rougier Steet and the tourism economy in York. It will complement other recemtly approved schemes at York Central and the major revamp of the frontage to York rail station.

The construction of the scheme will be preceded by an archaeological dig of York’s Roman past, described as the most significant archaeological event in York since the Coppergate excavation in the 1980’s.
