Planning permission and listed building consent has been secured for the conversion and extension of a landmark Grade II* listed building into a 107 bedroom hotel in a city centre and Conservation Area location. The Practice managed the project through sensitive negotiations with English Heritage, on behalf of the client, and successfully steered the scheme through to unanimous and enthusiastic endorsement from the Council’s Planning Committee, thus securing approval for the first 5* hotel in the city.
