David joined the Company as an Associate in August 2000, following 4 years as the Team Leader for Development Control duties in the city centre of York, specialising in urban design and architectural issues in historic settings. He has 20 years local government service as a DC officer, dealing with a wide range of planning issues, including retail, residential, commercial and flood alleviation schemes and has particular expertise in Urban Design, Conservation Area and Listed Building matters.
