New Campus

The Company acted as lead consultant for a team seeking outline planning consent on behalf of the University for a major expansion on to a 116 ha site adjacent to the existing campus. The planning application included an Environmental Impact Assessment, supporting documentation and justification for the development in the Green Belt. The proposal was supported by the Local Planning Authority and was the subject of a "called in" public inquiry in 2006. The Secretary of State granted planning consent in May 2007.
